A. No, our gift cards do not expire. You can use them at your convenience, whether it's for an immediate visit or for a future adventure.
Q. Can I use my gift card at any Discovery Place museum?
A. Absolutely! Our gift cards are valid at all of our Discovery Place museums, offering you flexibility and a range of exciting experiences.
Q. Are there any special exhibits or events where I can use my gift card?

Q. Can the gift card be used for purchases in the gift shop, Shop Science?
A. Unfortunately, our gift cards are for the Museums only.

A. No, the gift card cannot be used at Beansprouts Cafe. However, it is valid for many other exciting offerings across our museums.

Q. How does gift membership work?
A. When you purchase the gift of membership online, you’ll receive a code via email. You may forward this email to your gift recipient or share it another way. You can also request a PDF gift certificate you can print at home by emailing members@discoveryplace.org. Your gift recipient will activate their own Membership, no need to worry about it starting too soon! Please note that gift redemption codes expire 3 months after the date of purchase.
Q. What information about the recipient do I need?
A. None! We will send you an email with an activation code that you can forward or print for your gift recipient. Once they activate the Membership, they will enter their own details.
Q. When does the Membership start?
A. Gifted memberships begin the day the gift recipient activates them! Gift redemption codes expire 3 months after the date of purchase.
Q. How long is the membership active?
A.Once activated, the Membership is valid for 12 months. Regardless of what day of the month a membership is activated, it expires on the last day of that month one year later. For example, if your recipient activates their membership on February 5, 2024, it will expire on February 28, 2025.
